Name: Calypso

Character Name: Catherine Ellwood
Character Face: Noomi Rapace
Age: 20
Status: single
Place in Society: Aristocrat/first-class
Job: currently n/a (though she will turn sailor/pirate later)

Biography: Catherine was born into a rather wealthy family. Her mother enjoyed dressing her up in all the latest fashions and getting her music lessons, while her father simply wanted her to grow up to be a 'proper lady'. The pair adored their child and simply wanted to see her become the best she could be.

During her schooling, Catherine fell in love with writing and reading. She enjoyed escaping from her often monotonous world into the world of fiction and would spend many hours at the library. It was during this time she fell in love with the sea.

Catherine enjoys dancing and loves attending balls and parties. She is friendly and charming and enjoys mingling, especially with Lieutenants and other high-up members of the Royal Navy. It is when chatting to them that she longs to escape her current life-style and head to sea. As of yet, she is too afraid to break her parents hearts by doing that, however she knows that in the future it is bound to happen.

(In future: When she finally does run away, after a while she earns herself the nickname 'Puss-in-Boots' due to her name, Cath/Cat)

Welcome, Miss Ellwood! Smile
Surprising decision, to run away to become a pirate. That is a free spirit.

@William: Yes, hopefully we may some day.

@Elizabeth: Thank you Miss Davies. I'm not that free spirited yet as I haven't quite worked the courage; I rather fear I'd break my parents hearts if I did...
